Estimate Hardware and Software
Based on volumes recorded in Step 1, the necessary scanning workstations, indexing (validation) workstations, retrieval workstations (client, web) will be suggested along with suggested configurations (example – Pentium 4, 128 Mg Ram, 40ppm Fujitsu scanner, etc.).
Specific licenses for equipment defined in Step 4 will also be recommended based on volumes calculated on a monthly basis (Price list will be provided for budgeting purpose)
Department / CNS (Computing and Networking Services) will meet to agree upon desired location for equipment once purchased
